AUTHOR BIO
Daniel W. Wright is an award-nominated poet and fiction writer from St. Louis, MO. He most recently wrote the foreword for Sacred Decay: The Art of Lauren Marx(Dark Horse, 2021) and is the author of Love Letters from the Underground(Spartan Press, 2021) Brian Epstein Died for You(Spartan Press, 2020) and Rodeo of the Soul(Spartan Press, 2019). His work has appeared in print journals such as BUK100, 365 Days, and Gasconade Review, Black Shamrock, and Angel’s Shareas well as online journals such as Book of Matches, The Dope Fiend Daily, The Rye Whiskey Review, and Under the Bleachers. He was previously a head music writer for Eleven Magazineand served on the board of River Styxand was a co-editor for underground St. Louis poetry/art zine, Bad Jacket. His next book will be his prose debut with the short story collection, Tales from the Riverbank.
